1. Submission Process
Authors intending to publish original scientific research in World Scientific News should submit their manuscripts directly to the Editor-in-Chief via the provided email address “Submit your Article”. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Publication is contingent upon a positive review and formal acceptance by the Editorial Board.
- Structure: All submissions must include a formal Abstract (maximum 300 words) and a dedicated Conclusion section. Since 2020, the minimum number must be of pages is 8 (eight) of your submitted manuscript can be directed to the review process before the paper is considered for publication in the World Scientific News.
2. Citation Policy and Reference Standards
To maintain high academic standards, World Scientific News has implemented a strict citation policy effective from 2017:
- Source Quality: Manuscripts must exclusively cite works published in recognized, prestigious international scientific journals.
- Initial Screening: Adherence to these citation guidelines is a formal prerequisite for the peer-review stage. Manuscripts containing references from substandard or unverified sources will be rejected prior to review.
- Web Resources: Direct URLs and website addresses are prohibited in the References section. If necessary, essential online data may be cited within the main text of the article.
3. Author Identification and Indexing
For the purpose of accurate DOI registration (CrossRef) and to ensure precise indexing in global bibliometric databases, authors must provide:
- Full Names: The complete first name and surname of all contributing authors.
- No Initials: The use of initials for first names is not permitted.
ORCID iD Requirement

- Note: Correct identification is crucial for the visibility of your research and ensures proper citation tracking in international scientific circuits.
4. GenAI Usage Guidelines
Policy on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Publications
The Editorial Board is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity. In alignment with global publishing ethics (COPE), the following regulations regarding Generative AI (GenAI) apply to all submissions:
1. Authorship and Accountability
- AI Models as Non-Authors: AI tools (such as LLMs) do not meet the criteria for authorship. They cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, as they are unable to take legal or ethical responsibility for the work.
- Human Oversight: The corresponding author(s) remain fully accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the entire manuscript. This includes the rigorous verification of AI-generated citations and factual claims.
2. Disclosure and Transparency Requirements
- Mandatory Declaration: Authors must disclose the use of GenAI tools if they were employed in the writing, editing, or data analysis stages of the manuscript.
- Format of Disclosure: Such usage must be clearly stated in the “Reference” section or a dedicated “AI Disclosure Statement.” This should include the tool’s name, version, and a brief description of its role.
3. Visual Media and Data Integrity
- Imagery: The use of AI-generated figures, photos, or videos is generally prohibited in research papers, except when essential to the research design (e.g., in AI-focused studies).
- Prohibition of Fabrication: The use of AI to fabricate or manipulate raw data (synthetic data) without explicit methodological justification is considered a breach of scientific integrity.
4. Peer Review Confidentiality
- Reviewers are strictly prohibited from uploading any part of a submitted manuscript into AI platforms. This is necessary to protect the confidentiality of the peer review process and the intellectual property rights of the authors.
- Peer-reviews of papers and publication of articles in World Scientific News are free of charge.
